I have been a journalist, author, and public relations professional for two decades. Starting in the PR office of a New Jersey hospital, I learned on the job and quickly picked up computer and photography skills that complemented my established “people” skills. Completing my formal education was a priority, and earning my undergrad degree from Temple University, summa cum laude, was one of the high points of my life - especially since my three children were there to cheer me on!

I pride myself on my ability to work effectively and efficiently with a diverse clientele using a personal, collaborative approach that has helped me create a long list of satisfied clients over the years.

In addition to writing all types of materials for corporate and non-profit clients—web content, ad copy, brochures, newsletters, news releases, annual reports, grant proposals, speeches - I remain an active journalist, researching and writing features for newspapers, magazines, and trade publications as well as non-fiction books. My photographs often accompany my articles and the numerous newsletters, brochures, press releases and annual reports I have produced. I also am adept at editing the work of others. Whether it be magazine articles, books or corporate communications, I find the nuggets that make the copy come alive, and work closely with my clients and colleagues to transmit the best, most accurate message possible.

I live in Doylestown, county seat of beautiful Bucks County, PA, with my daughter, Elizabeth and amiable Annie, the yellow lab. My older daughter, Jennifer, is an English teacher, married to a phys ed teacher, John. My son Vincent is a recent college graduate and a member of the Air National Guard. They all inspire me, every day.

I am a proud and active member of the following associations:

American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA), the nation's leading organization of independent, non-fiction writers.

Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce logo

Society of Professional Journalists
